Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life."
-Winston ChurchillDanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02114868207207797936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6017615308210129802.post-72493676124488789682009-04-03T00:21:00.000-04:002009-04-03T00:21:00.000-04:00I really like the second paragraph. Nowadays, culture tells women that they should strive to be successful in business and other traditionally male areas of life. I believe that if a woman wants to do something, she should be free to try it. That's what freedom should be: a guarantee of opportunity. If any person, male, female, black, white, or otherwise, wants to do something, they should have that chance. However, no one should be forced into doing something they don't really want to do. Also, men should never be ashamed of being men. Besides, God has tasked us with responsibility for the spiritual welfare of our families. If we abdicate this role, we are sinning.

When you said "Be happy with you", I realized that that is true. If we are to flourish and thrive as Christians in the 21 century, we MUST be willing to fight for what we believe. When we do this, we will be attacked, and our enemies - who are very real - wil try to cut us down. The only way we can avoid this is to hold ourselves responsible to God, rather than men. We must work to improve our standing in God's eyes. One way we do this is by accepting and embracing the identity he has given us, rather than wishing for a different one.

I encourage you, as you have encouraged me, to do what you believe is right, not what everyone else wants you to do. You are the one who must live with your decisions. Doing the unpopular, but right, thing may garner criticism, but doing what's wrong to gain approval of men will haunt you forever.Danhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02114868207207797936noreply@blogger.com
